Originally from Bombay, India – JENNA MATTISON MIRZA is a TV developer, novelist & screenwriter. She currently has several TV drama pilots in active development since transitioning from independent film in 2018. SKAM for TEAM DOWNEY (Robert Downey Jr.’s Company), The Highway with Bob Shaye (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy) at Unique Features with David Von Ancken as EP/Director, THE BEYOND with Leslie Greif (The Offer, Walker) at BDE. She was also commissioned in 2021 to write NY Times bestselling author Sophié Kinsella’s (Confessions Of A Shopaholic) latest film adaptation. Next up she will be adapting the PULITZER PRIZE winning novel, that’s sold over 35 million copies worldwide, The Interpreter Of Maladies, as an anthology series. In winter of 2019 she wrapped up a stint developing a sequel to Bram Stoker’s DRACULA for a TV division of Lionsgate and wrote the Oak Island pilot for the ABC/Disney pod Hoodlum Ent. THE SOUND, an elevated psychological horror film, which she wrote, directed & produced, was released through MGM’s Orion theatrically in winter of 2017. Her previous indie films are available worldwide though: Lionsgate, MGM, Sony, Samuel Goldwyn, Netflix, Amazon etc. She is repped by GERSH & THE CARTEL
