J. Tithonus Pednaud
Prof. J. Tithonus Pednaud was born and raised in the small Northern mining community of Sudbury, Ontario. Taking an interest in the bizarre at an early age, Pednaud spent much of his youth in the darkest sections of his local library and in his backyard teaching himself to perform unusual circus sideshow feats of freakish endurance.
A true carny, who has travelled across the Great White North fronting Freakshows, sleeping under tilt-a-whirls, and performing stunts for pocket change, Pednaud is also a graduate of Laurentian University, where he majored in classical studies and theology. For a decade, Pednaud has been the author and researcher behind The Human Marvels website. He has dedicated his life to highlighting the remarkable lives of those born exceedingly different; the human marvels who have overcome horrific and socially crippling deformities to become inspiring examples of human tenacity.
The research of J. Tithonus Pednaud has been featured in everything from bathroom reader pocket books to master thesis papers. He occasionally lectures on human genetic variety and monstrous origins, and he still performs on occasions when his arm is sufficiently twisted. Pednaud currently resides in Toronto with his wife Kristen, an artist.
